    Great American's Corporate Communications department is seeking a Communications Representative to join their team.


    • Researches, prepares, writes and reviews articles for internal and / or external communications.
    • Confirms and / or reviews artwork, logos, layout and visual brand.
    • Participates in distributing materials via multiple media, ensuring compliance with procedures, company policy and corporate identity.
    • Participates in identifying and documenting customer objectives, audience, standards, timing, budget and distribution methods. Participates in educating customers about communication review process and procedures.
    • May plan and organize activities and events relating to employee programs, community relations and other events.
    • Participates in developing and executing communication strategies and timelines for moderately complex communication initiatives. Shares responsibility for meeting objectives.
    • Participates in maintaining communication archives / libraries for photographs, logos, graphics, communications, newsletters, press releases and other communication materials.
    • Participates in routing and securing appropriate approval.
    • Collaborates with Company business units, other shared services teams and various external parties to ensure tight alignment of communication.
    • Develops working knowledge of regulatory guidelines and agencies pertaining to communications, advertising and marketing materials.
    • Provides strategy and communication planning for company charitable campaigns.
    • Performs other duties as assigned.


    Education: Bachelor’s degree or equivalent.
    Field of Study: Business, Communications, Marketing, English, Journalism or a related discipline.
    Experience: 3 to 5 years of related experience.
