    Are you looking for an opportunity to shape an industry?  National Interstate Insurance Company is a leader in the specialty transportation insurance space and we looking for a dynamic and passionate Salesforce Admin to help shape an enterprise-wide CRM implementation.  This is a green-field implementation and offers the right candidate an extraordinary chance to work alongside senior technical and business leaders.  This role is part administrator and part Salesforce analyst.  You will be challenged to use your considerable technical and communication skills to solve tough problems and build a world-class Salesforce platform.   Your work will help shape the future direction of our company and set the standard for the insurance industry to follow.  Let’s get started…

    What you will be doing:

    • Providing leadership and expert technical advice as we look to get the most out of our Salesforce platform
    • Administering the day-to-day configuration, support, maintenance and improvement of the platform
    • Working with business leaders to implement their processes as effectively and efficiently as possible
    • Working with Solutions Architects to integrate Salesforce within our modern, micro-service architecture
    • Working within Salesforce to implement custom screens, intelligent workflows, dashboards, reports and tools – many from scratch
    • Identifying and implementing best practice guidelines for others to follow
    • Turning complex business processes into simple to use apps
    • Working alongside an awesome team of Architects, Coders, Analysists and Managers to level up your skills – and help us do the same


    What you will need:

    • At least 2-3 years of direct Salesforce experience
    • PASSION!
    • Extensive experience working within the Force.com platform
      • Creating automation and workflows using visual designers
      • Creating screens, dashboards, views and reports
      • Migrating data in and out of Salesforce
    • Great communication skills.  You will interact with all levels of our business and your ability to influence, persuade and negotiate will help you win.
    • Great listening skills.
    • A great love for solving problems.  We are looking to be world-class.  There is no shortage of tough issues to solve and new paths to take.
    • A willingness to share what you know.  Training of users at all levels will be important to drive adoption.
    • Self-motivation.  You must be self- motivated, driven to see results, and be intrigued by the use of data to inform decisions.
    • A curious mind.  The ideal candidate will always search for the “why”.  You will examine existing business processes and relentlessly search for ways to improve them with technology.
    • We want really smart people and prefer at least a BS degree in a technology oriented field.  Salesforce certification is also a huge plus!  If you don’t have one of those, but DO have rock-star Salesforce talents, we still want to talk to you!
